Respite
Respite care is provided in the family’s home within our local service area. Availability depends on location and staffing.
Respite care is available Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Care may be scheduled in blocks ranging from 90 minutes to 6 hours within these hours.
Respite care is designed for families of children with disabilities who need dependable support and time to recharge. Care may include the child receiving services and up to two siblings.

Caring for a child with extra support needs is meaningful work, and everyone needs time to recharge. Our respite providers come to your home and get to know your child's routines, communication, and what helps them stay calm and engaged. Care centers on safety, regulation and meaningful activity in a familiar space, so your time away doesn't mean disruption for your child. Respite is available weekday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., in blocks from 90 minutes to 6 hours.
